I went home for my parents' 25th anniversary last weekends...

It was great...we held a dinner party at nite, and the day after that, we went bowling...It was great to have all my family members at home...and when all of us are together, the house became a 'market'...

Everyone could not stop talking as we haven't had the time to gather like this often because most of us are away from home, studying...there're so many things to tell and so many things to do...I will upload the photos later as I forgot to transfer them to my laptop...huhu....

I have to come back to Terengganu last nite because I have so many things to settle here...Although it was only for a while, it means a lot for me...

I thank God for my family...because they're the best thing I've ever have...

The third day...

Woke up at 0700...have breakfast...ready to go to Marine park and other island for snorkeling...

The first station, Pulau Pinang, the Marine Park...went snorkeling for 45 minutes...the corals were beautiful, but unfortunately, most of them are dying or already dead... =(

The second station is an island called Pulau Lima...It was very nice...I was shocked at first because when I put my mask and snorkel in the water to clean them, all the fish were coming towards my hand...and I got bitten by the fish because they thought it was food...hehe...I screamed and everybody looked at me...(ya la..I was VERY shocked you know... =))

The next station was Pulau ....(emmm...I can't remember the name...hehe...) I didn't go down...I was too tired...It's because I've used all my energy to try to catch the fish at the station before...they're soooo cute...and colorful too...

Our last station is Pulau mat Kepit...we're too tired to go down...so we just fed the fish there with bread and watched them from the boat...Actually our boatman told us that we have one more station to go..that is the Turtle Bay...but he didn't tell the volunteers that the turtle bay is the place where we're staying...so when he brought us back to the beach, everyone was looking at one another...wondering why we're there...then he just said..."ok, this is the Turtle Bay..and the beach rite there was called, ***********."...everyone was pissed off....

That guy, Mahadi was very good at pulling others' leg...and he always making people laugh with his jokes and lies....well, he's nice actually...but a little naughty...when we said that he's 'jahat' (bad guy), he will tell us that if he's bad, he must be in jail rite now...hmm...what a guy he is...It's good to hv someone like him there...so, we'll not feel soo boring... =)

The second day

Woke up at 0700...have breakfast...prepared data for the afternoon nest check while the others went snorkeling...

After lunch...usual activity...sleep...zzzzz.....but it was raining...so, we hv to sleep in our room...at 1730 went for nest check...excavated the eggs...rescued the hatchlings from predators like the crab and ants (or we call it ma-yi jahat...)...

It was raining heavily during the nite, so, we can't sleep on the beach...but still hv to go patroling...and I found my second mother turtle...she landed around 0300 and laid eggs around 0340...Me, Shaw Yang, and Ronny was in charged in recording the data for that mother turtle...it was a green turtle...we're very lucky because the other group haven't had the chance to see the turtle.. =)

Went back to sleep around 0430...that nite I have to wear 2 sweaters to keep me warm... =)
